Heath was born in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, England. He has played and toured in the UK, Japan, and United States for the past 19 years. He has worked and recorded with well-known artists, Was (Not Was) and Jack Bruce. Graham is well-known for his exceptional live performances.

Bass Guitar and Vocals:
James is the group’s founder and has been performing in front of crowds, singing and playing musical instruments since he was five years old. From a family of musicians, performing is in his blood. He has been continuously active with Music ever since then, in school bands and as an adult working as a writer and Recording/Touring Artist. He has recorded several full length CD's and was nominated two years in a row as one of San Diego's best musicians by the San Diego Music Awards. His bands have toured and opened for several national acts and have played such venues as the Whiskey and Roxy in Hollywood, the Open Air Amphitheater where he opened for Jewel, the Belly Up tavern and the Ocean Bay Amphitheater just to name a few. James is the master on Keyboards and Five String Bass, with 35 years of experience. His innovative style and approach, combined with his ability to duplicate all riffs to a tee as well as his strong vocal ability, James provides Uptown Groove with sizzling keyboards, driving bass and powerful vocals that keeps Uptown Groove's live audiences dancing all night.

Drums/Percussion-Vocals:
Tim has performed in over 44 countries to include Spain, Italy, Egypt, Greece, China, United Kingdom, Ireland. He also performed for fortune 500 corporations, government officials, ambassadors, NATO, stadium crowds of 65,000 and to over 700 million television viewers! His latest tour was with Princess Cruise lines and played before thousands of vacationers in the Caribbean, along the east coast of the United States, crossing the atlantic, Mediterranean Sea, and the North Sea. He has been playing drums for well over 15 years and his broad music background and solid timing provide Uptown Groove with a driving machine beat that will keep the party hopping all night long.
